Location/Division Specific Information:
Within the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC location specializes in gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). Our expertise lies in the development and production of various softgel technologies.
How Will You Make an Impact?
The Formulation Technician II will be responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients, ensuring accurate temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in-process measurements, and quality product.
A Day in the Life:
Manufacture simple, bulk products
Observe machine operation, adjust as needed, take samples of product, and perform in-process testing
Assist Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket, clean and prepare machine for changeover, and assist with the actual changeover
Assist with cleanup and other encapsulation duties as needed
Operate inline printing equipment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of professional experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab environment or a relevant field
Desired: Background in a cGMP setting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshoot
Ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation

This role is a traveling position covering the XX region. Travel will be required 70-80% of the time. The ideal employee will be in either Greensboro, NC or the RTP, NC area.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills. Military Service/Training in lieu of a degree may also be considered.
Experience
4 years of related experience within a laboratory setting is preferred. Experience working in customer service preferred.
GxP Experience and IATA/DOT certification, knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements are also a plus.

Develop a spare parts stock strategy to organize and correctly account for that inventory and usage
Develop safety practices that improve working conditions on equipment as needed and beyond OEM standards to ensure a safe Parker work environment in HPD plants
Schedule equipment repairs or implementation with production control department.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications
As a PC&IS Engineer will be accountable for
Building the your PC&IS team Capability and providing them technical and leadership coaching
Drive Logic / integration improvement to continue improve Quality and Productivity
Eliminating losses by solving issue through root cause analysis and providing feedback to design
Develop the Preventive maintenance strategy
Develop and manage the Annual Budget needed for PC&IS within the department

Qualifications
3-6 years of controls engineering experience and leading teams.
BS/MS degree in Engineering. Preferred: Electrical or Systems. We may consider other engineer degrees if you have relevant engineering work experience.
Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills
An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations
PREFERRED: Below skills will be needed in the job , and is a big plus .
Experience with Industrial PLC, especially with Rockwell Control Logix platforms
Experience with computer and industrial networks.

The Senior Product/Design Engineer will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy by handling design responsibilities for assigned products. In this role, you will develop new product variants, new products, and maintain and improve the product in terms of cost, quality and performance.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identifies opportunities for product improvements and cost out through evaluation of manufacturing practices and assembly methods. Utilizes CAD and FEA software to develop product improvements.
* Performs cost analyses to justify changes, and coordinates activities of multiple disciplines to implement the changes.
* Performs root cause analysis on defective products using engineering principles and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Determine root cause using statistical methods (e.g., Design of Experiments (DOE), SPC). Modifies existing products to resolve quality problems, and coordinates activities of multiple disciplines to implement a solution.
* Modifies existing products and creates new products for new applications. Utilizes knowledge of systems and works directly with OEM's to determine product performance requirements. Leads team members of product development projects and justifies monetary resources and personnel to attain project goals.
* Defines product performance standards and product acceptance standards using knowledge of systems and laboratory testing equipment and procedures. Determines disposition of non-conforming material using engineering judgment and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Create product designs by:
* Leading technical design review meetings with customer engineers while being the technical expert on the design and analysis.
* Reviewing and comprehending customer design specifications
* Communicating with customers to enable designs that solve the problem for the customer
* Analyzing performance and dimensional requirements including dimensional variation analysis
* Validate product designs by:

* Excellent math and analytical skills, and familiarity with CAD and analysis software required.

How Will You Make an Impact?
The Formulation Technician II will be responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients, ensuring accurate temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in-process measurements, and quality product.
A Day in the Life:
* Manufacture simple, bulk products
* Observe machine operation, adjust as needed, take samples of product, and perform in-process testing
* Assist Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket, clean and prepare machine for changeover, and assist with the actual changeover
* Assist with cleanup and other encapsulation duties as needed
* Operate inline printing equipment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
* Necessary: At least 1 year of professional experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab environment or a relevant field
* Desired: Background in a cGMP setting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written skills
