The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining supplies in the tool room of a warehouse or business. If tools or equipment are lost, the tool room attendant is the one who orders additional stock of all the materials and equipment. Amongst other things, he/she hands PPE and other tools to workers and also updates or creates work instructions as it's necessary to comply with ISO. You will also need to replace the wooden handles on the handsaws if needed as well as the blades on power saws.
A supply specialist is responsible for monitoring the adequacy of equipment and supplies, including quality maintenance and securing storage of merchandise. Supply specialists manage order requests, verify shipment details, and perform data entry tasks such as updating the database for incoming and outgoing supplies.
