* Proficient in using professional phone etiquette to field customer calls.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five (5) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Extensive experience troubleshooting Generators, Gensets, and Switchgear along with Natural Gas and Diesel Engines.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Moderate computer skills. Familiar with web navigation, experience working with databases.
* Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the operation of compressors, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines and other related gas processing equipment. * Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and systems at plant facilities which includes, but is not limited to: cryogenic plants, hydrocarbon fractionation units, process controls and measurement, LNG facilities, engines and compressors, pumps, pump stations, pressure relief systems, instrument air systems, dehydrators, fuel systems, treating, emergency shutdown systems, reciprocating compressors, gas fired heaters, process pumps, amine treating systems, inlet gas receivers and NGL storage and transfer facilities in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership's procedures and regulatory requirements
* Seek to optimize processing through facility by maintaining proper product specifications
* Respond to alarms and problems within the plant and takes corrective measures
* Monitor and control pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to efficiently achieve desired operating results and ensure proper operation of equipment under current process conditions such as Start/Stop/Rate adjustment of equipment
* Demonstrated understanding in the maintenance and compliance of plant operations in alignment with partnership and environmental standards (PSM-SPCC-TNRCC) including the creation and maintenance of required reporting and readings
* Maintain and adhere to required trainings, policies, and procedures
* Where applicable, the selected candidate will be required to pass all PSM-required operator certifications
* Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives
* Communicate with partnership control centers, business groups, and other operating groups as necessary
* Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties

* Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, perform associated required tasks, and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)
* Investigates and analyzes corrosive conditions for existing and/or proposed facilities
* Responsible for corrosion control and associated compliance of cathodically protected pipelines, compressor stations or plant facilities, and other buried, submerged, or above ground facilities
* Proactively conduct pipe-to-soil potential surveys, casing-to-soil readings, rectifier and bond readings, current flows on pipeline, and foreign pipe-to-soil readings and all other structures under cathodic protection on a frequency as stated in SOPs or meet regulatory requirements and document in the corrosion database or other forms, records or reports
* Evaluate protective coating condition including internal, external and atmospheric systems and make repairs as needed, evaluate pipe anomalies and perform remaining strength calculations in accordance with established procedures
* Have an understanding of pipeline internal corrosion mechanisms and related mitigation measures including treatment and testing, collection of samples, bacteria, pH, dissolved H2S, and C02 testing and analysis, and perform chemical requirement calculations
* Perform cathodic protection design including current requirement calculations and soil resistivity testing
* Generate and maintain the reports covering rectifiers, bonds, pipeline isolation and annual corrosion control reports
* Install, maintain and repair rectifiers, anodes systems, cables, bonds, test stations and perform ground bed efficiency calculations
* Evaluate the effects of stray currents from other sources (i.e., traction systems, coal mines, AC transmission lines, etc.) and take the necessary action(s) to mitigate their effect on Energy Transfer facilities
* Read and interpret pipeline maps, as-builts and PLD's
