Trocaire College company history timeline
June 27, 1958: Trocaire gets a five-year provisional charter from the NYS Board of Regents to begin offering courses of study.
Trocaire was founded in 1958 by the Sisters of Mercy as Sancta Maria College, to train women of the order.
In 1967 the college was renamed Trocaire College.
The Trocaire College Archives was established in 1989 to collect and preserve materials documenting the history, organization, policies and activities of the College.
January 2008: Transit location opens
February 2012: Seneca Street location opens
