Richard Gilbert, M.D., joined the Company in 2010 through the acquisition of his practice, Southeast Anesthesia Consultants in Charlotte, North Carolina where he served as medical director and developed the proprietary Quantum Clinical Navigation System to measure and provide feedback on outcomes and patient satisfaction. Richard Gilbert was appointed Chief Medical Officer of the Company’s Eastern Division in 2015. Prior to this role, Richard Gilbert had served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Company’s American Anesthesiology Division since 2014. Richard Gilbert brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions with a strong focus on patient-focused, high quality care.

Paul Black is a Chief Financial Officer at Winston Medical Center. He attended Millsaps College between 1973 and 1975.

Shane is a pharmacist and entrepreneur specializing in innovative patient-care models and the use of technology to improve adherence, patient health outcomes and quality measures.He created the first central-fill pharmacy in Western Canada, using automation to prepare medications in patient-specific, multi-dose packaging that eased medication administration (med-pass) for nurses in long-term care facilities. His work with these facilities sparked his vision for Catalyst, now the leading provider of electronic medication administration record (eMAR) software in Canada, with a growing global presence in pharmacies and facilities.He has consulted for North America’s largest chains and smallest independents. As chair of the advisory committee for Healthy Residential Solutions Inc (HRS) in 2009, Shane led an independent pharmacy collaborative that applied technology to ensure high-quality patient care.Shane serves as an advisor to pharmacists, government agencies and industry leaders on matters related to pharmacy technology, medication administration accuracy, adherence, patient outcomes, and related areas. He was a leading contributor to the development of centralized filling and checking legislation for the province of British Columbia.
