Specific Responsibilities The Corporate Security Technical Specialist is responsible for the design, programming, integration, and ongoing management of the company's physical security technology systems, with a strong focus on Access Control and Video Management Systems (VMS). This role will serve as a technical expert and field specialist, supporting enterprise-level security platforms, coordinating installations, and providing hands-on technical and operational support across multiple corporate and field locations. In addition to technical responsibilities, the specialist will support broader corporate security functions, including executive protection (EP), employee escorts, investigations, site security assessments, and assist the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). System Administration & Maintenance
* Administer and maintain enterprise access control and video management systems, primarily Genetec Security Center, with secondary experience in Milestone and Lenel S2 platforms.
* Oversee system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and software updates.
* Conduct regular system health checks, backups, and firmware maintenance.
* Assist in managing vendor relationships and oversee integrator work for system deployments and service, including reviewing invoices.
* Ensure all systems meet corporate IT and cybersecurity standards for networked devices.
* Perform security technology assessments and coordinate with local site leadership on enhancements.
Programming & Integration
* Develop and implement custom integrations and automation scripts between security platforms and other enterprise systems (e.g., HR databases, Active Directory, building management, or ticketing systems).
* Utilize Genetec SDKs, REST APIs, and SQL for programming and reporting automation.
* Configure event-to-action rules, automated notifications, and real-time monitoring workflows within VMS and access control systems.
* Create custom dashboards, user interfaces, and analytics tools for security operations.
* Perform testing, validation, and deployment of software patches and upgrades.
Corporate Security Operations Support
* Assist the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) with system monitoring, alarm management, and incident response coordination.
* Support executive protection activities through personal escort, surveillance planning, route assessments, and access coordination.
* Conduct and document site security surveys and risk assessments.
* Provide security escort support for sensitive operations, visitors, or high-risk movements.
* Support internal investigations by retrieving and analyzing video footage, access logs, and digital evidence.
* Participate in the design and implementation of new physical security solutions for offices, industrial facilities, and field locations.
Training & Documentation
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for corporate security personnel.
* Conduct system training sessions for GSOC operators, IT support staff, and field securityofficers.
* Create diagrams, configuration baselines, and system maps for reference and compliance.
Travel Responsibilities
* Travel to multiple company facilities, both domestic and international, as needed (approximately 10-15% travel

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of four (4) years' work experience in a related field.
* 10+ years of experience managing and programming enterprise physical security systems. Security Integrator experience is a plus.
* Genetec Certified (Security Center Technical Certification required).
* Strong understanding of IP networks, access control architecture, and video analytics.
* Demonstrated experience with system integration, API development, and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, SQL).
* Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What Will You Do?

Required Qualifications & Skills
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas DL.
One year of customer service or related experience.
Must pass a pre-employment background check, DMV check, and urinalysis drug screen.
Currently possess and maintain a valid Non-Commissioned SecurityOfficer License in the State of Texas or be able to acquire on within 30 days.
Flexibility to work varying schedules (hours and days off) and work overtime as approved.
Perform basic work tasks on computers, including using MS Outlook email and Word.

Responsibilities for Response Security Guard:
General Job Functions: Respond to any and all calls to work, have open availability. This is full-time position
Monitor the premises to ensure security
Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
Control access points and verify identities
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
Write detailed reports on events and incidents
Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications for Response Security Guard:
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a valid Driver's License
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
Responsive and strong problem solving skills
If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
You have a valid Level 3 security license with the state of Texas
You have your own personal Level 3 equipment including firearm, duty belt, 2 pairs of hand cuffs with keys, 2 non-lethal (spray and baton)
You are at least 21 years of age
You have reliable transportation
Demonstrate a stable work history
Able to climb stairs, walk, and/or stand for long periods of time

Summary:
The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants. This is a United States Army installation, which includes all access gym and workout facility as well as a PX, Burger King, and MWR.
Requirements
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
If U.S. military experience is included as referenced experience, candidate must have a DD214 within the last 10 years as verification
May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
Have two (2) years' experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or have performed operations within the Armed Forces, civilian police or commercial security while armed within the past 10 years
Must have completed a State recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or the completion of an armed forces security or law enforcement training program. (Verification of training, such as a training certificate/s or DD214 (honorable discharge) must be provided)
Have a current/active U.S. Passport
Be willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report to include fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
Must have experience and knowledge of security operations
Must have experience with basic force protection
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing
Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed
Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request
Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
The candidate must maintain the necessary physical fitness to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions. This includes guard duties under local types of weather and terrain. The candidate must meet all physical and medical requirements as dictated by the U.S. Government client's contract.
