Lateral Transfer Eligibility: To be considered as a lateral applicant, candidates must be currently certified or eligible to be certified as a Police Officer in the State of Oregon without the need to attend the Basic Police Academy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Patrol the campus in either a security vehicle, on foot, or bicycle to provide a safe and secure environment by deterring crime and enforcing university parking policy. Contact people on the university property who are not members of the Linfield community and ensure they are either guests or have appropriate business on the campus. Ensure the safety and security of campus facilities by making frequent checks of buildings and grounds. Ensure that buildings are locked and secured after certain hours for protection of persons and property.
