Primary Purpose of Position
Maintain overall responsibility for Operations while ensuring the plant is operated in accordance with applicable regulatory and safety requirements, company policies, ALARA concepts, and best- operating practices.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Accountable for the in-field application of policies and procedure relating to applied Radiation Protection (RP) programs. Directly manages the Radiation Protection first line Supervisors and Radiation Protection Technician activities in their daily support of plant Operations and maintenance activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist the Radiation Protection Program Manager in developing, reviewing an implementing department procedures and policies, and assuring that these documents meet all federal and company regulations.
Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding RP and the site. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g. Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.). Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
Attend Peer meeting to assure that industry best practices and standards are being implemented effectively and uniformly across all sites.
Accountable for ensuring that department activities, priorities and resources ae being managed effectively to meet the needs of Operations and Maintenance. This includes planning and budgeting refuel outage support for the department.
Accountable for the performance improvement of the RP first line supervisor (FLS) and RP Technicians (RPT).
Fill in for Radiation Protection Senior Manager at meetings and responsible for department when Manager RP (RPM) is off-site.
Accountable for ensuring that department activities, priorities, and resources are being managed effectively.
Provide critical observations and feedback to site and departmental staffing to foster continuous improvement.

Primary Purpose of Position
Plans, coordinates, and manages activities associated with the development and implementation of Constellation's operations training programs at the Clean Energy Center (CEC).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Provides direction for and supervises the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of CEC training programs established to improve CEC and personnel performance in accordance with Constellation Department Descriptions, Policies, Procedures, and Process Descriptions. Program responsibilities include initial license training, reactor operator, senior reactor operator, non-licensed operators, shift manager, shift technical advisor, and simulator performance.
Manages post-training assessments to identify impact on personnel and CEC performance to identify training program areas needing improvement. Training improvements and corrective actions are systematically initiated, trended, analyzed and resolved.
Support CEC and fleet activities in the areas of business plan initiatives, project management, re-fuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties and special projects.
Anticipates long-range Security training needs and develops strategies and plans to meet those needs.
Assures that training facilities, equipment, materials, records, and personnel qualifications support training program goals.
Participates in Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and management audits or assessments and provides responses to audit findings.
Coordinates the assignment of training activities between CEC management, outside agencies, contractors, and the training department.

The Terra-Gen Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Storage (BESS) Plant Manager is for an additional plant(s) within the Edwards / Sanborn project portfolio. It is a manager position that leads and monitors all operational and maintenance functions for the PV and BESS Facility near Mojave CA and other designated plants as needed. It is a position managing multiple employees, OEM and vendors who perform tasks fulfilling duties specified in an executed O&M service agreement between Terra-Gen Operating Company, as the O&M Service Provider, and possibly several entities including Terra-Gen LLC, as the owner.
The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring that the facilities are available to produce optimally and within all safety and regulatory compliance while fostering a positive, supportive, collaborative and safe culture. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing plant policies and procedures as well as team building and professional development of employees.
The Plant Manager will also be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of the power plant(s) and all associated equipment in accordance with procedures, regulatory guidelines, and operating directives in effect. They will also provide appropriate direction, guidance, training, and supervision of assigned personnel in the accomplishment of company goals and directives. Oversee all facets of operations and maintenance associated with equipment performance. Responsible for the material condition of each component and ensures that each functions correctly and reliably through programs of equipment inspection, repair, and system testing/troubleshooting. Coordinates with all departments, including OEMs, to maintain peak performance of the power plant while maintaining all warranties. Ensures all documentation is completed to provide historical analysis along with regulatory compliance of all maintenance and repairs.
The Plant Manager reports to the General Manager of Operations - Photovoltaic and Battery Storage. The main office located in the vicinity of Mojave, California.
Some travel will be required for this position.
On-call rotation will be required for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned as needed):
Adheres to, supports, and complies with all company safety and environmental policies and practices. Ensures all employees, contractors and visitors conduct themselves safely and within departmental / company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Conduct professional contact with key personnel in the form of phone calls, meetings and reporting to the department Managers including the customer regarding plant performance and plans of action.
Complete request for proposal (RFP) process, select contractors/vendors, initiate contracts and purchase orders and professionally manage contractors/vendors for Terra-Gen operations, contractual spare parts, and operation and maintenance technicians as needed to fulfill O&M service agreement obligations.
Responsible for the performance of all contractors as required by the O&M service agreement.
Manage and track warranty claims and understand installation warranty and equipment warranty responsibilities. Ensures operation and maintenance activities are performed to maintain warranty agreements.
Schedule and manage additional services, as needed, based on the available monitoring data. Ensure acceptable quality of services executed.
Completes all required plant inspections.
Assist EHS with the implementation of an OSHA-compliant safety program and culture at the plants.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Oglethorpe Power Corporation as we construct and commission a new state-of-the-art greenfield combined-cycle power plant. The Plant Manager will play a critical leadership role in the successful integration and startup of the facility, including building and developing the operations team over the next three years. This position requires close collaboration with the construction project team to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commercial operations.
During commissioning, the Plant Manager will lead key readiness and startup activities such as 3D model reviews, preventive maintenance (PM) program creation, training, spare parts review and ordering, and the development of operational and maintenance processes and procedures. The Smarr Combined Cycle Facility will utilize two 1x1 multi-shaft GE 7HA.03 combined-cycle units with GE HRSGs, GE steam turbines, and air-cooled condensers.

Job Purpose:
