Dave Sipes serves as 8x8’s Chief Executive Officer. Sipes has an extensive twelve-year history in business management at RingCentral, most recently he was Chief Operating Officer where he led innovation, engineering, global sales, marketing, customer care, international operations, corporate development, and business development. Prior to that he oversaw a variety of key functions, including Chief Revenue Officer and, prior to that, Vice President of Corporate Development. Before joining RingCentral, Sipes was co-founder and COO of Branders.com, the nation’s largest online B2B seller of promotional items. Prior to that, Sipes worked in brand management at PepsiCo and was a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton in their marketing intensive group, providing strategic guidance to marketing and media companies such as Heinz Company, Callaway Golf, and Universal Pictures. Sipes also serves on the board of directors of PandaDoc, an all-in-one document automation company that streamlines the process of creating, approving, and eSigning proposals, quotes, and contracts. Sipes holds a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mary T. McDowell is an experienced technology leader who brings more than 30 years of industry expertise to her role as President and Chief Executive Officer, leading Mitel’s global strategy and business performance. Mary’s strong operating experience in both public and private companies and deep international background have given her an intimate understanding of how to drive successful transformations and revenue growth across mobile, enterprise, and consumer technology sectors. Most recently, Mary was CEO and member of the board for Polycom, Inc., a leader in enterprise communications and collaboration, where she led the company through a strategic transformation and successful sale to Plantronics in 2018. Previously, Mary served as Executive Partner at private equity firm Siris Capital, LLC., and Executive Vice President at Nokia, where she was in charge of the company’s $15 billion global feature phone business and oversaw Nokia’s developer and app store organization. She also held senior positions at Compaq Computer and Hewlett Packard. Mary currently serves as a board member for multinational software company Autodesk, Inc. and multinational events and publishing company, Informa, plc. She is also a member of the board for the Committee of 200, a nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women in business. Mary holds a Computer Science degree from the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.

Bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the role, John D’Anna is Chief Executive Officer of Empirix, Inc. Prior to joining the company; John served as senior vice president of global sales and services for JDSU’s Test & Measurement Product Group. Under John's leadership, JDSU’s Communications Test & Measurement sales organization built strategic relationships with some of the world’s largest communications service providers and equipment manufacturers. In addition, John led the company’s global services group, a multinational organization focused on delivering services in support of JDSU’s Systems & Software solutions for deployment and maintenance, product support services, consulting and educational services. John joined JDSU in August 2005 with the acquisition of Acterna, where he was executive vice president of global sales and services. Before joining Acterna, John was field sales representative for Hewlett-Packard’s Test & Measurement Group from 1984 to 1990. John is a member of the Advisory Board for the Newark College of Engineering, the engineering college of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and received a Masters of Business Administration in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Dr. Bami Bastani is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile & Wireless Infrastructure Strategic Business Unit Bastani has more than 35 years of industry experience in the semiconductor industry, including component to system-level RF technologies. Prior to joining GF, he was president, CEO and board member of Meru Networks, a global enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks solution provider. During his time with the company, Bastani transformed Meru Networks from a hardware company to a solution provider, delivering a portfolio of software, software-defined networks (2015 SDN Excellence Award) and subscription cloud offerings (WaaS). Dr. Bastani has also held positions of president, CEO and board member in the mobility, consumer and broadband markets, including president and CEO of Trident Microsystems, Inc. and ANADIGICS, Inc. In addition, he has served in executive positions at Fujitsu Microelectronics, National Semiconductor and Intel Corporation. Dr. Bastani holds a Ph.D. & MSEE in Microelectronics from Ohio State University.
