In This Role, You'll:
Plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded
Monitors loading, dispatch, and receiving times and makes appropriate changes, ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations.
Routinely informs and communicates with associates to ensure compliance with established warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures
Monitors and completes numerous computer-based and manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily logs, damage reports, etc.
Monitors product damage and audits routes to ensure reliable product delivery

Plans and coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports.
Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
What You'll Bring:
3-6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision
AA degree preferred (vocational/technical accepted), forklift instructor certification a plus
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices
Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping)
Ability to lead a diverse team in a 24/7 operation with a focus on collaboration, safety, and efficiency
Experience working in (or around) union environments - union background a plus but not required

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
5 or more years of Materials Management experience
Proven experience with ERP/MRP and Warehouse/Inventory software in a manufacturing environment (experience with Genius ERP is considered a plus)
Proven experience with Lean training, 5S and best practice use
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated manager who enjoys challenges and working in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business-related field preferred. Proven years of experience can be substituted for lack of degree.

About the Role:
The Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the entire logistics and warehousing operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods. This position is responsible for managing freight forwarding activities, coordinating material control, and supervising warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory levels and streamline shipping and receiving processes. The Logistics Supervisor leads a team to implement best practices in warehousing and inventory control, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics supervision or warehouse management.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions:
Navigate the RF-based computer system to receive all incoming merchandise on the dry and cooler docks. This involves identifying each pallet with a corresponding pallet ID tag and scanning that bar code into the system.

Select for Transfer Truck that dispatches. This will either be the dry, cooler, or frozen transfer items.
Work as a reach operator to assist in put-aways and product replenishment as needed.

SUMMARY
