Bruce Cohen is a Chief Executive Officer at OrthoCarolina and Physician at OrthoCarolina. He works or has worked as Vice Chairman at OrthoCarolina and Chief:Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center.

A purpose-driven CEO and healthcare growth executive known for fixing, stabilizing and growing health care companies and physician-owned practices. I believe that if you put the customer / patient first the impact will be positive. That is how I form and lead the organization's core mission, vision and values set. As the CEO of Summit Orthopedics, I lead a premier orthopedics practice with over 60 physicians, 800+ employees and 35+ clinical sites of service. Through a collaborative leadership approach, our organization has successfully undertaken two strategic acquisitions with surgery centers and physician practices which have resulted in double-digit growth for our shareholders. Previously, in COO and strategic business development positions, I have been recruited to lead and successfully stabilize deeply divided clinics and hospitals where they had experienced federal investigations for fraudulent billing activity, operational inefficiencies, and stagnant growth. My colleagues and stakeholders appreciate my relationship skills and ability to build a trusted culture of positive employee engagement, where they feel significant, passionate and confident about their work which leads to meaningful business results; growth and patient satisfaction. Passionate about wanting to make a difference in the world, I studied premed at the University of North Dakota, and through shadowing experiences with Healthcare Executives, I learned that I could better utilize my skills as a leader and collaborator with physicians and staff to create positive results that more broadly impacts systems and a larger audience of patients.

Ryan Beale is a CEO at Orthopaedic Group PC/The and is based in Mobile, Alabama. He has worked as COO at Cardiology Associates. Ryan studied at University of Alabama between 2000 and 2004 and University of Alabama at Birmingham between 2004 and 2007.
