Michael Goc wrote the following story for the Fall 2001 issue of the newsletter.
The WAHF Scholarship Program began in 2002 with a single $1,000 annual award.
Founded in 2004, the heritage center has grown to a first-class facility housing history displays, an aviation library, a flight school and meeting facilities.
