The first time NAHS hired someone for the sole purpose of being in charge of the radio station was in 1960 when Mr.
The studio at Floyd Central opened in 1967 when FCHS opened its doors for the first time with Roger Whaley as the first instructor.
WNAS TV (Cable Channel 25) began in 1980 and has been televising locally produced programs 24 hours a day ever since.
