Dave Sipes serves as 8x8’s Chief Executive Officer. Sipes has an extensive twelve-year history in business management at RingCentral, most recently he was Chief Operating Officer where he led innovation, engineering, global sales, marketing, customer care, international operations, corporate development, and business development. Prior to that he oversaw a variety of key functions, including Chief Revenue Officer and, prior to that, Vice President of Corporate Development. Before joining RingCentral, Sipes was co-founder and COO of Branders.com, the nation’s largest online B2B seller of promotional items. Prior to that, Sipes worked in brand management at PepsiCo and was a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton in their marketing intensive group, providing strategic guidance to marketing and media companies such as Heinz Company, Callaway Golf, and Universal Pictures. Sipes also serves on the board of directors of PandaDoc, an all-in-one document automation company that streamlines the process of creating, approving, and eSigning proposals, quotes, and contracts. Sipes holds a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of California, Berkeley.

Shmunis has more than 25 years of industry and management experience. Prior to launching RingCentral, he founded and served as the CEO of Ring Zero Systems, a desktop software communications company. After shipping more than 25 million copies of its Windows software through partnerships with leading PC manufacturers, Ring Zero Systems was acquired by Motorola. Shmunis was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 Northern California Award finalist. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from San Francisco State University, and is a named inventor in a number of U.S. patents.

Mary T. McDowell is an experienced technology leader who brings more than 30 years of industry expertise to her role as President and Chief Executive Officer, leading Mitel’s global strategy and business performance. Mary’s strong operating experience in both public and private companies and deep international background have given her an intimate understanding of how to drive successful transformations and revenue growth across mobile, enterprise, and consumer technology sectors. Most recently, Mary was CEO and member of the board for Polycom, Inc., a leader in enterprise communications and collaboration, where she led the company through a strategic transformation and successful sale to Plantronics in 2018. Previously, Mary served as Executive Partner at private equity firm Siris Capital, LLC., and Executive Vice President at Nokia, where she was in charge of the company’s $15 billion global feature phone business and oversaw Nokia’s developer and app store organization. She also held senior positions at Compaq Computer and Hewlett Packard. Mary currently serves as a board member for multinational software company Autodesk, Inc. and multinational events and publishing company, Informa, plc. She is also a member of the board for the Committee of 200, a nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women in business. Mary holds a Computer Science degree from the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.

Eduardo Diaz Corona is a Chief AMX Coordinating Officer at TracFone Wireless, Inc. and Director Regional at Telcel and is based in Miami, Florida. He has worked as Subdirector at Telmex, Presidente y Gerente General at Claro Chile, and VP General Manager at SBC Mobile Systems. Eduardo studied at Kellogg Executive Education between 2006 and 2006, Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1983 and 1987, and Arizona State University between 1987 and 1990.

Lutz Schüler has been CEO of Virgin Media since June 2019, after spending ten months as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Lutz is also member of the Liberty Global Executive Leadership Team. Lutz has a great track record in the German telecom market, with many years of strategic and operational experience and extensive experience in marketing, sales and operations across a wide range of products. Prior to his time at Virgin Media, Lutz was CEO of Unity Media, a position he held from January 2011. Whilst at Unity Media, he played a key role in the acquisition of Kabel BW by Liberty Global and the subsequent integration of both companies. He served in several senior management roles with the Telefónica O2 group from 1998 onwards, lastly leading the integration of Hansenet Telekommunication GmbH as its CEO in Hamburg, when it was acquired by Telefónica O2 in early 2010. From 2006 to 2010, he was Managing Director, Marketing & Sales for Telefónica O2 in Germany. Before joining Telefónica O2 in 1998, he worked as a product manager with T-Mobile.
