Required Qualifications: Associates of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a minimum of 1 years of post-credentialed clinical experience; Active, unencumbered credentials to practice as a sonographer in the state of Ohio; Candidates must be able to utilize or be willing to learn instructional technologies; Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Work was recently completed on an $18 million renovation of the campus engineering building that will reinvigorate the physical campus space. With the physical reinvigoration, we are seeking an instructor to reinvigorate our Manufacturing & Skilled Trades Program. The incumbent will be responsible for classroom instruction, maintaining course records, grading, program curriculum, mentoring students outside the classroom, and course curriculum. This will include working with other full-time and part-time faculty at the college to make modifications and changes to best prepare our graduates for either further study or to enter the workforce. College Faculty are required to hold 10 office hours per week in addition to teaching. Teaching load is 30 contract units a year, typically this is 15 units per semester. The incumbent is also encouraged to participate in college social, cultural and professional activities and civic activities.

The English Department at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) invites applications for one or more full-time lecturer positions in our Writing Program, which primarily serves the CWRU writing-intensive general education curriculum (see: ************************************ We seek colleagues who champion an inclusive university and who are excited to join our energetic and collegial program. Our first-year and advanced writing seminars cover a range of topics and emphasize intellectual inquiry, critical thinking, and academic writing.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties: Design and lead first-year Academic Inquiry Seminars; Provide consultations for the campus community via the Writing Resource Center; Participate in professional development activities related to the teaching of writing
Additional Opportunities: Designing and teaching communication-intensive seminars, creative writing workshops, professional/technical/scientific communication courses, and/or other undergraduate courses; Pedagogical leadership and assessment activities are also available and are compensated

About Case Western Reserve and the Writing Program: CWRU is an independent research university located in Cleveland's University Circle, a square mile urban district of cultural, medical, educational, religious, and social service institutions. We enroll over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate/professional students in both liberal arts and professional/technical disciplines. The Writing Program serves as a resource for all CWRU writers, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. Our Writing Resource Center offers consulting in several locations on campus, including our main site in Bellflower Hall, the historic building that serves as the home for Writers House, a gathering place for writers that supports community programming, craft workshops, and the New Gutenberg Annex, which is a moveable type print lab and book arts workshop.
The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $53,000 - $58,000. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The University of Akron School of Law will hire an assistant library professor on a twelve-month contract to begin as soon as possible. This is a law faculty non-tenure track position eligible for continuing appointment. The position includes equal voting rights and expected participation on faculty and university committees.
The library professor will provide reference and research services, participate in collection development, and complete other duties as assigned. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience or a strong interest in student services, electronic services, or developing legal technologies such as AI. In addition to the librarian duties, the library professor will teach in our LARW I program and Advanced Legal Research.
