Internship Description This position will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making processes by working with large datasets to create business insights and develop data warehouse type reporting. With expertise in databases (design, process, schemas), data extraction, data cleansing, building data pipelines and creating streamlined financial/operations reports. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this position will translate business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards, which will enhance our ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of SQL and database design/architecture. This position will report to the AVP, Finance Planning and Analysis with collaboration and support from the database administration group. This will be a position that will work to build multiple projects and on streamlining processes. Interns will have significant client contact through client interviews and home/placement visits, assist in case investigations, serviced advocacy on behalf of clients, negotiations with opposing counsel, legal research and writing for motion arguments, custody hearings, and termination parental rights trials, review of pre-trial discovery and DCF case files, attendance in education-related matters (suspension and IEP hearings), and appearances in Juvenile Court on behalf of CRA clients.
