The UAMS College of Nursing (CON) seeks a visionary scientist to enhance and promote innovative research as our Associate Dean of Research. This is a 12-month, full-time tenure/tenure-track faculty position with 50 percent effort as Associate Dean and the remaining effort engaging in teaching, research, and/or service commensurate with Associate or Full Professor rank.
The Associate Dean for Research reports directly to the Dean of the College of Nursing and represents the colleges' research interests within UAMS and the University of Arkansas System. Responsibilities include mentoring faculty in research and scholarship, coordinating the College of Nursing's Research-Intensive Faculty Experience, and fostering research collaborations across campus and the state.
