Nothing. They laid off all the workers that made the products, and got China, India, and Korea to do all the manufacturing just before selling all their machinery and equipment in 2008 to whoever. Don't know how they could call it American Pneumatic tool anymore. Now I believe that they're only a distribution business now. They started in 1938. What a shame.
Come back to America and hire Americans to manufacture (American Pneumatic Tools) and live up to your name. I was happy when I worked four years for them as a precision grinder.
I was hired through an employment agency after I applied online in Dec. 2003. It was temp to hire, and I got hired. I worked at the plant in Gardena, California from Jan. 2004 to Feb. 2008.
Not sure, maybe average.
America is diverse, but now no Americans manufacture products with the American Pneumatic Tool logo on them.
What I enjoyed about working at APT was the many different assembly parts that I would set up to precisely grind.
