**Job overview and responsibilities**
+ Reports to the Sr. Manager Technical Operations Line Maintenance Safety and Compliance and oversees division safety training, issues, and regulatory requirements. Serves as the subject matter expert in safety and compliance for Line and Base Maintenance operations (internal and external), including dangerous goods, and conducts continuous surveillance through regular site audits and visits.
+ Manages all safety and compliance matters within the designated region, including secondary maintenance stations, and proactively addresses safety and compliance concerns for the assigned region and systemwide operations as a whole. Integrates surveillance and analysis of operational, safety, and compliance risks/trends with Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs.
+ Supports the Managing Director of Line Maintenance and local management team as a champion to reduce the total number of injuries, injury severity, aircraft damages, lost time, operational impacts, and total cost. Actively supports Safety Action Team initiatives and promotes positive safety culture across all areas of responsibility.
+ Leads investigations with local management for non-compliances and injury/damage incidents using standard methods, ensuring robust root cause analysis, mitigation strategies, and corrective action plans are developed and sustained locally and systemwide. Generates, analyzes, and presents audit and investigation findings and trends for department and division leadership.
+ Ensures implementation and adherence to safety policies and procedures in support of division and corporate safety objectives and outside regulatory agencies. Implements SMS principles in surveillance activities including identification of hazards with high safety and regulatory compliance risk.
+ Leads regular risk reviews and monitoring plans for risk identification, including through Safety Action Team meetings and in partnership with EMP compliance groups for SMS inputs. Promotes and incorporates lessons learned across Line and Base Maintenance, GSE, FX, Warehouse, and cross-divisional operations where applicable.
+ Leads the implementation of one or more Tech Ops Safety Team systemwide initiatives. Provides mitigations and resolutions for safety issues and concerns from IBT and IAM Union Management Safety Committees.
+ Serves as the Tech Ops subject matter expert and master trainer on one or more safety subjects and shares expertise and lessons learned with division and cross-division safety counterparts to support continuous improvement across the operation.
**Qualifications**

We do not require special schooling or a college degree for this job and you will be fully trained by United.
Your United journey begins with the best Flight Attendant training in the industry! You will spend 6.5 weeks attending Initial Training in Houston, TX. Here you will learn United's safety and service standards. During training, you will be assigned your base in one of our seven hubs in Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Franciso, Washington Dulles, or one of our other flight attendant base locations (relocation funds not provided). Following the successful completion of training and after attending base orientation in your assigned location, you will be officially welcome as a full-time United employee. While in training, United provides a stipend of $140 per week, along with dual occupancy hotel accommodations, breakfast, and either lunch or dinner (dependent on your training schedule).

* Must be able to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens. Medical and recreational marijuana is prohibited due to the safety-sensitive nature of the Flight Attendant position.
* Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history. Your background must not prohibit travel to or from anywhere United flies. For example, Canada has a strict inadmissible classification for DWI/DUI charges including misdemeanors. If you have been on probation or convicted of a DWI/DUI within the last 10 years, the Canadian government will not allow you to travel to and from Canada unless you have already received a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) from the Canadian government which will allow you to continue your work duties for a temporary period of time.
* Must, with or without reasonable accommodation, meet hearing and vision requirements as established by the Federal Aviation Administration and United Airlines, including not having hearing loss on audiometry in better ear greater than 40 dB when losses at 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz are averaged; and, each eye must be 20/40 or better corrected for both far and near vision.

What You'll Do:
In this outdoor role, you will be responsible for detailing our vehicles. This includes cleaning, washing, vacuuming, removing trash and sanitizing. You will fill gas tanks, check fluid levels and tire pressures. Other duties include inspecting for auto body damage and checking for dash warning lights. As needed, you also may drive and park cars on our airport lots.
As a Pick Your Shift employee, you'll begin with a scheduled, paid onboarding session where you'll meet the team and get introduced to Avis Budget Group. During your onboarding, you will complete role-specific online learning and in-person skill assessments, giving you the tools to be successful in your role. Once you've completed onboarding and training, you'll be ready to start selecting the shifts that work best for you.

Reservation Manager Agent Responsibilities:
* Assist with calls from and to customers.
* Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, while directing incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status in order to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand.

What you'll do:
Directs sales of vehicles through all available channels within assigned area.
Coordinates and provides guidance to Ops Sales & Supply Chain to achieve 'Right Car Right Place' for sale of vehicles at auctions and other channels.
Attends auctions to sell cars, monitor market conditions and maintain reasonable inventory levels.
