Blair joined Aviva in February 2014 from ASB, New Zealand’s largest retail bank, where he was Executive General Manager for Wealth and Insurance. He previously worked at Great Eastern Insurance where he led the strategic planning and transformation process and was instrumental in aligning country operations to a common vision and strategy. He has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has held a number of senior and executive positions at ANZ, AIA and AXA.Blair was appointed UK Digital Managing Director in September 2015 and has overall responsibility for the UKD business, including the trading and marketing plans, the digital and telephony customer experience, evolution of Aviva.co.uk and MyAviva and developing innovative and differentiated customer propositions.
