No, you can not become a phlebotomist purely through online courses, however, there are hybrid phlebotomist training programs that include both in-person classes and online courses. The reason you can not become a phlebotomist completely online is that training programs require hands-on training and in-person clinical experience.
Phlebotomy is the medical practice of drawing blood from patients so that it may be tested diagnostically or may be given as a blood donation. When you are new to this field you must be supervised while learning how to do carefully and correctly draw blood.
