Can you wear shorts to an interview?

As a general rule, you should not wear shorts to an interview. It is a good idea to present yourself professionally, even in warmer months, by wearing pants or a dress to an interview.

There are exceptions to this rule. Positions in resort communities or at amusement parks may allow you to wear shorts, such as khakis or linen ones. You should be absolutely certain that the person giving the interview does not mind you wearing shorts if you choose to do so.
