How are Grubhub drivers paid?
Grubhub drivers are paid on a weekly basis and usually on Thursdays via direct deposit. Grubhub also gives drivers the option to use an Instant Cash Out feature that costs $0.50 for the transaction. However, if the driver banks with Chase, the $0.50 transaction fee is waived.
Weekly direct deposit payments reflect the amount a driver has earned as a delivery partner with Grubhub but has not yet cashed out using the Instant Cash Out feature from Monday through Sunday of the previous week. It can take three to five days for some banks to process the direct deposit payment.
There are only a few qualifications necessary to become a Grubhub driver. You must be at least 18 years of age, own a car that you can drive for the company, and have a legal driver's license and no glaring offenses on your driving record.
