How do you list a finance degree on a resume?

By Zippia Team - Mar. 26, 2022

You list a finance degree on a resume in the education section of the resume. Depending on where you are in your career, the education section will either be at the top of your resume or near the bottom.

The education section can be near the bottom if you have multiple years of professional experience. However, if you have just graduated from college, then the education section should be near the top of your resume.

This section should include any relevant educational information, such as what university you attended, the years you attended, your specific degree and any minors, as well as your GPA and any relevant extracurricular activities or accomplishments.

The organization for this information should be:

  • Degree

  • University

  • Year graduated

  • GPA

  • Other information

The following is a template of what this may look like in a finance resume:

Bachelor of Arts in Finance (2020); GPA 3.8

Cornell University | Ithaca, New York
