How long is an ACLS certification good for?

By Zippia Team - Dec. 9, 2022

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is good for two years after you earn the certification. To remain certified, you need to complete ACLS recertification every two years. To do so, you must complete a recertification program offered through ACLS.

ACLS recertification courses can be completed online, in person, or as a hybrid. They include any new information and methods that are needed to learn. They also include a condensed version of what was taught for ACLS certification, so that those who are recertifying get a refresher course. The cost of recertification is around $150.
