How long is Navy training?

Navy training is completed in eight to ten weeks. Naval training consists of the Navy's enlisted boot camp which focuses on basic Naval training, leadership, and professional development, which is valuable to all Navy recruits throughout their military careers.

The Navy has recently updated its training to be longer and include an extra emphasis on character development. The Navy also recently added two extra weeks to their basic training, which is also called "Sailor for Life", and consists of:
