How long should interview answers be?

Interview answers should be up to 3 and a half minutes long for behavioral questions, and 30 seconds to 2 minutes long for basic questions.

Questions regarding simple facts should be the shortest answers. An example of this is "where did you attend college?". The answer to this question should not be longer than 30 seconds.

The only questions that may require an answer longer than 3 and a half minutes are questions involving a highly technical or complex aspect about the job you are being interviewed for.
