How many hours can salary employees work?
Salary employees can work any number of hours in a given week. There are no maximum or minimum requirements, unless specified by the employer.
If a salaried employee works more than 40 hours in a week, they do not receive overtime pay. Similarly, if a salaried employee works less than 40 hours in a week, there is no reduction in their amount of pay.
