How many hours do car salesmen work?

Most car salesmen work 40-hour work weeks, spread out into 8-hour shifts. A car salesman's schedule is not always the same week by week. They may have different days off, and they do not always have weekends free. In fact, weekends are the busiest times for car salesmen and so many enjoy working those shifts.

Car dealerships are also open longer than the typical 9 to 5, so the hours that a car salesman works may be different from week to week. Some weeks they could work 9 to 5, and then maybe 11 to 7 or any other 8-hour shift during the open hours of a dealership.
