How much do CDL team drivers make?

CDL Team Drivers make around $80,000 a year. With an average range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, Team Drivers can make significantly more money than the average Truck Driver.

Team truck driving is when two drivers drive the same truck and take shifts driving the truck. Team Truck Drivers may drive a maximum of eleven hours after ten consecutive hours off duty. So, one team member can drive for eleven hours while the other sleep. This allows for more efficient driving, so both can increase their salary significantly.

Compared to solo drivers, team drivers can usually earn more money. Despite their pay being split between the two drivers, team drivers can run significantly more miles than they ever could by themselves.
