This question is about caddie salaries.
Professional caddies make a base compensation of between $1,500 and $3,000 per week. A caddy's compensation combines a weekly pay rate and a percentage of a professional golf player's winnings at a specific tournament.
If a professional golfer finishes outside the top ten in a tournament, their caddy usually makes 5% of their winnings. Players who make it into the top 10 but don't ultimately win offer their caddy between 6% to 7% of their cash prizes.
Most professional golfers who win the tournament by coming in first place offer their caddy 10% of their winnings.
Caddies can also earn income from sponsors. They don't earn as much money from sponsorships as professional golf players, but a sponsor can pay them to wear a hat or shirt with the specific company's logo.
