To become a nurse case manager with no experience, you must attend nursing school and become a registered nurse. Here are the steps you can take to become a nurse case manager without experience:
Attend nursing school. Prospective nurse case managers must obtain a bachelor's degree in the science of nursing (BSN).In nursing school, you study and complete classes about nursing fundamentals, including the following:

Complete and pass the NCLEX exam. After you've obtained your degree, this is the required next step. The National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, also known as NCLEX or NCLEX-RN.

Determine whether or not to get your master's degree. This is not a requirement. However, getting a master's degree in nursing or case management can help to enhance your skills, knowledge, and expertise in this area.

Case management licensure. This depends on the state where you are trying to become a nurse case manager. Some states require case manager licensure in addition to registered nurse licensure. Certification can be obtained through the American Case Management Association (ACMA).
You must have at least one year of working experience in nursing to apply for this certification and pass a written exam.
