This question is about what a marketer does.

What do entry-level marketers do?

By Kate Swindlehurst - Jun. 13, 2023

Entry-level marketers work closely with their team leads, take ownership of parts of a project, and complete more menial reports. Most marketers complete at least a bachelor's degree program as well as complete some internships before they enter the workforce.

Entry-level marketers work under the direction of a team lead, which is typically just a senior marketer. The senior marketer assigns parts of an overall project to the entry-level marketer. From there, entry-level marketers complete the tasks and then report to the senior marketer.

A large part of their work includes completing the more menial tasks, such as completing and submitting estimations of costs, or submitting applications for various things. Marketers who are just starting out often complete the tasks that make life easier for the more senior marketers, and they slowly begin to take ownership over more and more parts of an overall project.
