This question is about Domino's Pizza jobs.
A Domino's assistant manager is responsible for the people, the business, and the policy and procedures during any given shift.
As an assistant manager at Domino's, you are responsible for the staff that works during your shift. This means you are aware of and involved in the scheduling process, attendance, and punctuality of the employees. This includes delegating the responsibilities of each individual, as well as overseeing their productivity. You are also required to see that they are meeting standards.
You are also responsible for the clerical part of the business. As an assistant manager, you should have a grasp on inventory, finances, and customer relations. It is important that you are able to effectively oversee all of these things while keeping your employees on task, and seeing that all policies and procedures are followed.
As an assistant manager, it is also important to be able to do the jobs you expect your employees to do. These requirements include standing, lifting, and carrying for extended amounts of time. You should be able to operate equipment, handle monetary transactions, and have personal skills.
You should be willing to stock, train, and even deliver pizzas right alongside your employees should your shift require it. You may be leading the team, but you are ultimately part of the team.
