What is a CAMS certification?

Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification is a certification that teaches the basics of money laundering and how to prevent it. It is training and education on preventing money laundering.CAMS is often a requirement for many different positions and often leads to an increase in pay.

It can take as little as four months to become a CAMS. To be certified, you need to pass an exam, for which there are eligibility requirements. These include 40 hours of relevant coursework.

The coursework can be substituted with work experience and education. The course cost starts at $1400 but can be lowered through the aforementioned substitutions.
