This question is about document reviewer resumes.
Document review experience includes experience examining documents relevant to pending litigation and regulatory investigations. Document reviewers may include documents such as memos, letters, e-mails, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and other e-documents.
Basically, anything you're asked to review in order to determine whether the information should be turned over to an opposing party in response to a discovery request (such as an interrogatory or Request for Production).
Examples of document review experience:
Evaluate legal documents for cases that have a high volume of evidence from the discovery process
Review and analyze information to help determine its relevance to a case
Utilize electronic software to narrow down which pages to review
Perform substantive document review on the document
Review platforms such as Documatrix, OmniX, Kroll Ontrack, Relativite
Review and code documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, issues, and privilege
Assist with preparation of privilege and redaction logs.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
