What is the hiring process at McDonald's?

Applicants to both corporate and restaurant positions may be asked to take a personality test, which takes between 30 minutes to an hour to complete. The test gives McDonald's a sense of your personality by making you choose which you agree with most from a series of statements, given in pairs. Be honest but thoughtful with your answers.

Corporate employees may also be asked to take a situational judgment test (SJT). This test is timed and fast-paced. It is meant to show how you would act in common workplace scenarios. You will be presented with several scenarios, and asked to rank different responses in terms of most to least viable.

Due to the volume of applications McDonald's receives each day, it may take up to two weeks to hear back. If you pass the assessment(s), a member of the McDonald's recruiting team will contact you for an initial screening, in the form of a phone or video interview.
