As the subject matter expert of customer journey orchestration, the Growth Operations Solutions Architect will think strategically, execute flawlessly, and effectively collaborate in a matrix organization. Develop, test, and deploy customer journeys. This involves assessing product and strategic objectives, platform capabilities and data needs. Considering the complexities of global large-scale projects, collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to ensure that operational plans, deliverables and risks are properly communicated and addressed. Optimize performance through A/B testing to drive incremental growth and overall program improvement. Monitor campaign performance for operational integrity and identify and communicate issues to internal teams. Identify key opportunities for innovation in campaign performance, operational efficiency, processes, and product tooling. Build a knowledge portal of best practices and playbooks that serve as a reference and training resource. Job Summary: The Professional Services team for NA SMB & Partner Growth supports pitching PayPal's payments, onboarding, and payouts capabilities to major North American channel partners, including Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe/Magento, Salesforce, GoDaddy, Intuit, and several Vertical SaaS platforms. Collaborating with Sales, you'll leverage business acumen to support technical pre-sales processes through negotiations and solution development, while using technical expertise to lead technical design for these high-volume customers. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: * Actively participate in the technical discovery phase with customers to understand their needs and requirements. * Assist customers during the integration and onboarding process, ensuring smooth and successful deployment of solutions. * Explain complex technical concepts to C-level executives and non-technical audiences, ensuring they understand PayPal's technology and value proposition. * Record and review the solutioning process with the integration team to ensure technical and business requirements are met. * Represent the technical voice of the customer internally, participating in product design and roadmap reviews to ensure customer needs are addressed. Expected Qualifications: * 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications: This role will focus on supporting several Vertical SaaS Platforms, with a strong emphasis on technical solution selling and developing a standardized, vertical-specific knowledge base and best practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in building repeatable solutions and frameworks tailored for leading vertical SaaS partners, ensuring the team is equipped to address their unique solution requirements, integration, and growth needs. * Master's degree in computer science or equivalent. * Ability to analyze strategic objectives and define specific tactical goals required to achieve them. * 8+ years of experience with Payments (Credit Card, Banking, Online, Offline, Checkout flows, Consumer Wallets, etc.), especially with e-commerce systems, payments gateways, and payment processors. * 8+ years of experience in Solutions and/or Integration Engineering or Professional Services, preferably with large to enterprise-level companies engaged in e-commerce. * 5+ years of experience with system discovery process, requirements gathering, systems architecture, or development. * 5+ years of industry experience with POS systems/devices or mobile systems. * 5+ years of industry experience with Vertical SaaS platforms solution design and/or integrations.
