Responsibilities:
Build case defenses and trial themes autonomously
Support national trial and coordinating counsel team to manage litigation nationwide for large corporate clients
Analyze the application of state and federal case and regulatory law to the facts of cases for pre-trial motions and other submissions
Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties
Interview potential and preparing witnesses for testimony in litigation or before regulatory bodies
Take and defend lay, expert, and corporate representative depositions
Argue motions
Develop client relationships through oral and written communication
Draft pre-trial reports and performing risk analysis
Participate in mediations and/or court-mandated status, settlement conferences and hearings

Identify, assign and supervise work for case paralegals
Interact and potentially managing outside co-defense counsel to negotiate global discovery strategies
