* Develop and teach relevant curriculum that provides classroom and lab experiences and prepares students for entry-level positions in the program field.
* Facilitate class instruction in accordance with learning objectives and session plan outlines specified by STC.

* Adhere to protocol guidelines for participation in online learning as determined by the course.
* Review textbook and courseware changes with the Dean and full-time faculty teaching the course.
* In accordance with industry and educational standards of STC, review curriculum and assess course competencies to ensure student are meeting industry standards.
* Build good professional relationships that establish a positive rapport with students and colleagues.
* Operate and maintain equipment used by the program.
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management required; Master's degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering or a Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in Construction Management preferred.

* Must possess or be eligible to obtain an active City of Sioux Falls contractor license.

General classroom environment with standard equipment available during classroom instruction. Lighting and temperature are adequate for course delivery. Moderate noise levels typical of a classroom environment. Certain lab environments, such as equipment operation labs, or off-site construction projects will have louder noise levels due to tool usage, and engines running. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions that may not be climate controlled when conducting equipment training or other outside labs. Job is sedentary in the classroom that is similar to an office environment. Some physical activities and exposure to weather extremities during outdoor labs.

This position helps continue our organizations mission by creating a fun and engaging environment for our ZooCamp participants. As part of a team, you will be ensuring camper safety, leading lessons and activities, and supervising teen volunteers.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading age-appropriate activities, games, tours, and lessons based on the provided curriculum.
Executing camp check-in and check-out following established safety protocols.
Providing appropriate supervision and ensuring the safety of camp participants, both in the classrooms and in public areas of GPZ.
Handling ambassador animals safely and correctly in presentations for campers.
Supervising teen volunteers (Junior ZooKeepers) who act as classroom assistants for ZooCamp.
Providing outstanding guest service to camp participants, camp parents, and GPZ/BHA visitors.
Communicating professionally and positively with guests, staff, volunteers, and others.
Camp Instructors may also be asked to oversee teen volunteers (Junior ZooKeepers) as they present informal education opportunities on zoo grounds, including artifact carts and conservation activities, and support them as they present daily Bookworms storybook programs.
Time Commitment
Camp Instructors will be scheduled for 8-hour or 5-hour days, Monday-Friday. Schedules will typically be 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m. but may start as early as 7:30 a.m. and end as late as 5:30 p.m., and weekly schedules may include morning half-days. Camp Instructors may have the opportunity to work at an overnight camp, but this will not be required for everyone in this role. Camp Instructors must commit to one Saturday or Sunday in May for training (6-8 hours) and at least 5 full weeks (Mon.-Fri.) in the summer. Camps run May 30 Aug. 15.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be willing and able to work the schedule listed above.
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Previous experience handling animals is a plus.
The ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
Maturity, sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, be able to lift 25 lbs., and be able to stand for long periods of time.

**Job Summary**
The Nursing Assistant Trainee is enrolled in a learning experience designed to develop the confidence and competence to serve as a caregiver that provides personal care to clients. The trainee demonstrates the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. This role requires an ability to do detailed work correctly, handle stress, demonstrate critical thinking, and prioritize responsibilities. The trainee works with clients and their families to ensure their physical, cognitive, spiritual, emotional, and social needs are met. The trainee delivers age-appropriate care to meet the physical, psychological, and restorative needs of the client as defined in the care plan.
The trainee assists the care team and documents client care when appropriate. The trainee communicates changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse. The trainee assists with basic health care needs and activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, obtaining vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and delivering other personal care as assigned. **Qualifications**
