* Develop and teach relevant curriculum that provides classroom theory and laboratory application and prepares students for entry-level positions in the field.
* Facilitate class instruction in accordance with learning objectives and session plan outlines specified by STC.
* Teach the course in ways and methods that engages student learning.

* In accordance with industry and educational standards of STC, review curriculum and assess course competencies to ensure students are meeting industry standards.

* Education: Associate's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction or related field required. Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or civil engineering or related field preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of three years of work experience in engineering or related field required. Post-secondary teaching and applied curriculum development experience preferred.

The successful candidate will teach and conduct research in the following areas: Computer Science, with emphasis in software development, algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and operating systems; and/or Cyber Defense, with primary emphasis in data privacy, and additional knowledge in cybersecurity policy and governance, ethics and legal issues, risk management and security program development, incident response management, security metrics and decision support, wireless security, cryptography, networking, cybersecurity risks and auditing, and Operational Technology (OT) - specifically SCADA systems.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Teach and advise orchestral ensembles, or orchestral and wind ensembles, as well as other music courses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct orchestral ensembles or orchestral and wind ensembles in area of experience and expertise.
