American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of recent home health experience and required BLS certification for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
Home health setting serving geriatric patients
Patient caseload averages 5-7 visits per day, up to 30 visits weekly
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office
Uses HCHB EMR, prior experience required
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
All charting must be completed by 9 AM the following morning
iPad provided for work purposes
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to geriatric patients in a home health environment
All documentation must be timely and completed by the daily deadline
Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted
No cell phone use for work; iPad provided for documentation
Position open to local candidates at the travel rate
Requirements
Active Physical Therapy license required if applicable
Minimum of one year of recent home health experience required
BLS certification required
OASIS documentation experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
Strong skills in timely documentation and communication

Responsibilities
Work in a short term acute care hospital with a Level III trauma designation
Acute care physical therapy unit with patient ratios of 10-12 per day
Float between units within the facility and potentially other locations within the state is required
Schedule is 7 consecutive 10-hour day shifts on, followed by 7 days off; alternative schedule of Thursday-Monday with Tuesday/Wednesday off may be considered
Weekend shifts are required
Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred
Responsibilities include physical therapy evaluations and treatment of various acute care patients in a Level III trauma environment
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and independently manage a full patient caseload
Any color scrubs may be worn
No on-call required for this position
Returning former permanent staff must have a 3-month separation and live more than 50 miles from the facility
Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is permitted and approval is limited
All RTO or scheduling needs must be discussed prior to contract; changes after offer may result in contract termination
No parking fees

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
IPR (Inpatient Rehab) experience is beneficial but not required
