Responsibilities
As a caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will:
Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Accompany clients to appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies.
Help with active and passive mobility exercises as outlined in the care plan.
Document any observed changes in the client's condition and report them to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
A high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver's license, auto insurance(recommended), and reliable transportation.
The ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Completed mandatory CEUs (continuing education units) - provided at no cost.
A negative drug screen and clean background check.
The physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, as well as lift up to 50 pounds.
