Dr. Saliman is a sports medicine and arthroscopy -trained orthopaedic surgeon maintaining an active practice at the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in joint-preserving treatment of injuries to the shoulder, hip and knee. Dr. Saliman completed a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University / SOAR in Palo Alto where he provided care for the San Francisco 49ers and for Stanford University and Santa Clara University athletic teams. His residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University in New York City. He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in his home town of Denver. Dr. Saliman is at the forefront of innovation on minimally invasive devices, implants and techniques to repair injured or degenerative joints. His present focus is on cutting edge techniques and innovations to decrease pain, repair anatomy and improve function in the shoulder, hip and knee.

He is regarded as a master of the hammered dulcimer, and is also proficient on many other instruments including guitar, banjo, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, fiddle, and Jew's harp. He has received six Grammy Award nominations.
