Heather Lu-Lasky, CFA, is the Founder & CEO of ChampAmerica Inc., a New York-based Career & Workforce Development and Management Consulting firm.

Heather believes that the skills of a nation’s workforce are vital to its competitiveness. Inspired by this, she founded ChampAmerica with the purpose of equipping students with skills, connecting employers with talent, linking non-profits with partners, and providing government agencies with sustainable prospects for the future. She is a passionate advocate of international students seeking employment in the U.S., given her own experience as a struggling international student trying to overcome the language, cultural, and social challenges.

Heather started her career in the Enterprise Risk Services Group (ERS) at Deloitte and later moved on to various Risk & Control-related roles at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Barclays. Heather has been a key member of Campus Recruiting initiatives and played an active role in mentoring and training new Analysts and Associates. Since 2016, Heather and her team have been assisting students and job seekers with coaching, career development, and training.

Heather is a columnist for various publications on the subject of career and workforce development including the World Journal and the High Performance Counsel.
