Position Objective: Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) tasks/goals at designated Army installation are to reduce medical attrition and increase Military readiness. SCCs will improve BDE readiness through Army specific functional fitness training programs, in accordance with (IAW) Field Manual (FM) 7-22 and designed to meet each BDE's Program of Instruction (POI) requirements. Services will target musculoskeletal (MSK) injury prevention and reconditioning education services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
SCCs will work as part of the H2F Performance Team to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, periodized education and services program integrated and synchronized with the BDE and Battalion (BN) training calendars. Success is determined by the ability of the BDE to perform its combat mission.
SCCs will perform services IAW the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) Scope of Practice.
SCCs will be embedded at the BDE level. Most work will be performed in a Military training environment (i.e. fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the SPRC).
SCCs will be required to observe BDE and below (i.e. BN, company, platoon, squad, team) specific training events (e.g., obstacle courses, combatives, training areas).
Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all work performance aligns with H2F objectives.
SCCs may be embedded within H2F Performance Teams across BDEs at various Government installations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university; it is highly desired that the degree is in a related field.
Must possess a passing score from the Board of Certification (BOC) by the NSCA as a CSCS or by the CSCCA as a SCCC.
Have three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five years. Relevant experience is defined as developing and executing task and environment specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes or DoD/Department of Homeland Security/Department of Justice entities focused on a common sport or mission performance goal. Please note - Employment related to internships or graduate work for only up to one year is considered as relevant experience.
Have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certification. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively with Soldiers and H2F staff.
Be physically able to lift and manipulate loads and weight plates up to 45 pounds.

The coach will also support partnerships with other organizations to develop joint programs, including with other CAA coaches.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Support the Director of HoopGirls in organizing and coaching the HoopGirls Winter Season in the Palisades Basketball League January and February 2026.
Create weekly practice plans and support the winter league coaches in following guidelines, fundamental skill building, and advanced plays as needed.
Coach or Assistant Coach one of the Winter Season teams.
Support each of the teams coaches (15 volunteer coaches) for the six teams for the Winter Season assisting at practices, assisting at games as needed.
Attend all practices and select games (some of teams games overlap on Saturdays).
Serve as the liaison to the commissioner of the Palisades Basketball League, as needed.

Recruiting /outreach communications for participants

3. Collaborate with other partners to develop joint basketball clinics/programs.

The Opportunity
Our Coordinator's/Hosts' primary mission is to make league night the best night of the week for our members. Being naturally enthusiastic, outgoing, and ready to play, they make fun possible for our members- whether that's creating their own league trophy, bringing a speaker along to the games to get the vibe just right, or starting a game of Flip Cup at the sponsor bar after the game. What You'll Do….MAKE FUN POSSIBLE
Produce a fun and energetic experience for all players involved. From being a brand ambassador when you are out and about to running nightly operations for sports leagues including but not limited to field/location set up and break down, reffing/hosting the games, equipment transportation if needed, tracking scores, communicating with players, executing evening tasks, and acting as the local “FACE” of DC Fray.

JOB SUMMARY: The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a full-time A-ball Strength & Conditioning Coach for the 2026 Minor League Baseball Championship season. This coach will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of the Baltimore Orioles strength and conditioning program with an A-ball affiliate, while supporting pre-season, spring training, and post-season player development camps in Sarasota, Florida.
REPORTS TO: Director of Minor League Strength & Conditioning
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Oversee the daily administration and implementation of the strength and conditioning program at the assigned affiliate.
Supervise and instruct all weight training, speed, recovery, and conditioning programs.
Ability to aid, promote, and implement foundational programs in areas including but not limited to sleep, nutrition, prep work, establishing base strength, establishing quality movements, and understanding of training.
Hold players accountable and advance them in strength and movement to build base for their careers within the Orioles' strength and conditioning principles.
Conduct activities outside of the weight room such as activation, prep, and post-game routines.
Manage organizational data within athlete management systems and apps. Complete reports using the data directed by Director of Minor League Strength & Conditioning.
Carry out the organization's performance programs, including VBT, GPS, Force Plates, other technology, and other assessment tools.
Conduct movement and power testing consistently and adhere to the strength and conditioning department's testing guidelines to gauge the program efficacy.
Collaborate and work well with team medical, performance and coaching staff.
Communicate and monitor players' off-season strength and conditioning programs.
Work with the assigned players throughout the championship season, along with pre-season, spring training, and post-season camps occurring at the complex in Sarasota as assigned.
May be required to travel to organizational meetings, seminars, and camps or spring training
Desire to further one's abilities and knowledge within strength and conditioning, sport science, and baseball.
Communicate well with Minor League Coordinator on daily/weekly activities, player plans, and goals.
Aid the Nutrition department in providing meal reviews.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Head Coach organizes, coordinates, and promotes a comprehensive athletic program that is designed to:
Meet the needs and interests of the school community
Provide effective leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment and will stress the importance of academic achievement

This job reports to the Director of Athletics/Director of Student Activities.
Qualifications:
MPCS staff preferred.
Knowledge and background in assigned sport.
Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desirable.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
(including but not limited to the following)
Holds organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages potential athletes to participate in the sport.
Assesses player's skills and assigns team positions.
Develops a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team development.
Works with the athletics director in scheduling facilities for practices and competition.
Assigns duties to an assistant coach as necessary.
Observes players, during competition and practice to determine the needs for individual or team improvement.
Determines game strategy based on the team's capabilities.
Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior and provides proper supervision of athletes at all times.
Monitors the academic performance of team members to ensure that eligibility requirements are met.
Follows established procedures in the event of an athlete's injury.

Follows MPCS and PWCS middle school regulations governing the athletic program.
Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
Acts as a team representative and promotes the sport by communicating with the news media and organizations.
Participates in special activities to include parent's night, banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
Maintains eligibility forms, emergency data cards, equipment inventory, and other related records.
Instructs athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategies, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success.
Instructs participants on personal hygiene and safety procedures and in the need to report injuries to the coach immediately.
Fosters among the participants and spectators an appreciation of the values of athletics, a desire to win, an attitude of good sportsmanship, and a sense of pride in self, team, school, and community.
Directs the training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity athletic team and to lead, supervise, and assist the assistant coaches in their efforts with teams assigned to them.
Acts as a positive influence upon the behavior of members of his/her athletic staff and teams.
To be present and personally direct the middle school program.
Responsible for the supervision of athletes at invitational meets or postseason competition.
Provides all students involved in the program a safe environment through adequate supervision.
Compiles and maintains accurate individual and team performance records.
Issues, collects, inventories, and stores equipment and provides accurate records of equipment
Conveys the policies of the team, local school and MPCS to all participants and families.
Ensures compliance with rules, polices and regulations for PWCS Middle School Athletics and MPCS.
Submits rosters and paperwork to the Director of Athletic/Director of Student Activities.
Follows School Activity Funds Manual and local school policies involving financial transactions.
Establishes procedures for communicating with parents/guardians.
Implements appropriate procedures when handling injury situations.
Ensures availability of first aid kit and emergency care cards at all times.
Inspects facilities, equipment and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of participants.
Participates in professional growth activities.
Participates in the award program(s) in adherence of school procedures.
Provides an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship.
Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to effectively communicate and interact with other staff and the public through the
use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
