Human Resources Generalist Department: Operations Reports to: Director of Human Resources Employment Part-Time Hourly; Non-Exempt Summary: This position's key responsibilities are to work in coordination with and provide support to the Director of Human Resources, and to lead, organize, coordinate, develop, administer, comprehensive human resources practices, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: Administrative Provide exceptional customer service with timely turnaround for HR data requests and HR questions, and troubleshoot employee and technical issues. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) files and records. Complete report and grant data requests, as well as provide support for audit documents. Complete internal and external monthly reports, as well as daily/weekly maintenance and follow up for monthly reports. Process and submit monthly department invoices. Maintain staff training platform. Provide support during annual performance evaluations and goal setting, and annual policy review. Benefits Coordinate annual health insurance enrollment and maintain new hire enrollment monthly. Ensure ACA Compliance and reconcile benefits and annual earnings statements such as 1095s, W2s, etc. Compliance Maintain and submit annual OSHA 300/301 and EEOC filing Ensure internal compliance with annual policies and monthly tracking. Talent Acquisition Assists with all aspects in talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding, including management of job postings and refreshing on multiple platforms. Manage internal recruitment tracker for adequate progress reporting and historic information. Prepare candidates and Director of Human Resources for New Hire Orientation, and be back up to conduct new hire orientation. Complete new hire pre- and post-onboarding. Qualifications and Skills: At least two (2) years of human resources experience. Experience with an HRIS system, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task with multiple high priority projects simultaneously. Great communication skills and welcoming personality. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy. Ability to navigate and pivot in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Take initiative and be able to solve problems and troubleshoot, creatively and self-sufficiently. Demonstration of organized and efficient work habits with a follow-up and follow through mentality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. High level of discretion of confidential work and information; ability to appropriately handle critical information and sensitive situations.
