Reviews drawings to create nest on CAM System for production of parts in order to maximize plate usage

Uses Microsoft Office to create reports frequently
Understands Production due dates, Schedules programs made in the correct priority to be cut.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience would be necessary
Additional training in CAD-CAM operating systems
Prior work experience in gas or laser cutting would give the necessary background for the position.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Thorough knowledge of the use and operational procedures for CAD-CAM systems.
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing products, design requirements and terminology.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering related documents, blue prints and other data.
Knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes for cutting programs.
Requires advanced math skills including trigonometry, geometry and complex calculations including fractions, percentages and ratios.
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Excel in order to run reports as needed.

Overview

Additionally, you will be responsible for performing the Stretching Operation, which involves inputting stretcher parameters for each order, initiating Auto-stretch, and visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions. It is important to keep your work areas clean and safe.
To qualify for this role, you must be able to read and understand a tape measure, operate the overhead crane, drive Combi/Forklift, lift to 50 pounds, and read and understand shop orders.

Responsible for the in-process inspection/verification of parts during extrusion
Monitor and maintain good physical condition of extrusion press and handling equipment
