This position is responsible for monitoring a variety of batch "jobs" that run on the mainframe. The ideal candidate will be one that has worked as a Mainframe Computer Operator on an MVS, OS/390 system monitoring jobs, resolving job abends, modifying JCL code or at least reading it a bit to troubleshoot the abend, and using scheduling software, preferably Control-M. Serve as a liaison between technical developers and production support in a client server and mainframe computer environment.
