Kimley-Horn is looking for an Experienced CAD Operator to join our Renewable Energy team in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC)! **Responsibilities** + The person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity and may perform some multifaceted calculations
+ Responsibility to develop:
+ substation packages in AutoCAD up to 500 kV. This includes single line diagrams, substation layouts, control building layouts, electrical elevation views, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel elevations, etc.
+ distribution packages in AutoCAD up to 34.5 kV. This includes single line diagrams, above and below grade circuit routing, aerial or survey data integration, trench, grounding, and pole details, street lighting design, etc.
+ substation CAD design standardization process to expedite design timelines
+ database of CAD tools and blocks for specific HV substations (and transmission lines) to support analysts and engineers with a plug-and-play AutoCAD experience
+ database of major equipment for both substation (and transmission)
+ Use automated design (AUD) for the development of distribution material lists and guying, voltage drop, and pull tension modeling.
+ Perform quality control checks and provide feedback to team members
+ Requires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks
+ Has knowledge of engineering principles and suggests design changes
+ Maintains drawing database
+ May supervise and train CAD staff
+ Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)
+ 3+ years of relevant experience

Serves as an Information Assurance and Cloud computing SME with regards to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and a broad coverage of the application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and guidance as outlined in the NIST Special Publication(s) (SP) 800-53 and 800-37 (Current versions).
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Service Management
+ The CCS shall maintain current certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional. Possesses the ability to work independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge.
+ The assessor must have the essential skillsets to identify, manage and resolve cloud computing security risk and implement "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment (across all of the different deployment and service models, and derivatives).
**Other Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Investigates computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to national security information and automated information systems.
+ Defines security objectives and system-level performance requirements.
+ Researches and stays abreast of tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities.

+ Involved in the periodic conduct of a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
+ Designs, develops, or recommends integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
+ Involved in the establishment of strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and

**Minimum Qualifications**
