An international development consultant with over 20 years of experience in more than 70 countries worldwide, currently serving as executive vice president and as a member of the Board of Directors of Chemonics International Inc. Provides strategic and operational management for a variety of units and supports Chemonics’ CEO and president in ensuring the firm achieves its vision, mission, and key result targets. Currently oversees Chemonics’ Global Health and Supply Chain Office, which comprises more than 1,500 global staff. Throughout his career, has proven his management capabilities; high aptitude for facilitating and leading groups with different agendas toward a common goal; excellent presentation skills; results orientation; and enthusiasm and commitment to improving the lives of people in developing countries.

Alan joined PA in 1988. He led the firm as Chief Executive Officer for 13 years after successful periods in charge of PA's IT, strategy and financial services businesses. Alan has extensive consulting experience, particularly in financial and professional services, and has worked with industry-leading clients around the world, ranging from start-ups to multinationals. Alan studied at Edinburgh and Stanford Universities. He has a degree in electronic and electrical engineering, is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and of the Chartered Management Institute.
